Obituary

Sidney Cohen, 90, beloved husband and best friend of Shirley, nee Klimboff, for 67 wonderful years; loving father of Lauren Shindle and Stew (Rita) Cohen; cherished grandpa of Aaron Shindle, Dawn (Zack) Krone, Adam (Teresa) Shindle, Brenden and Brant Cohen and great grandfather of Bella; dear brother of Ilene (the late Morry) Friedman; treasured uncle and friend of many. Sidney was a proud WWII veteran. He served under General George Patton at D-Day and received many meritorious medals, including the Purple Heart. Sidney was a champion bowler, talented square dancer and singer. His greatest joy in life was family. Chapel service Monday 12 noon at the Beth Shearim Mausoleum at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W.
